Gail P. Fennell, PT is the founder and owner of CT Scoliosis and Spine Rehab. Gail specializes in the care of each person with a comprehensive, hands-on approach. She is well adept at the bio-mechanical analysis of movement.
With a comprehensive approach to physical therapy, Gail includes: manual therapy, movement analysis and exercise with neuromuscular re-education, therapeutic instruction in an individualized home exercise program; this includes proper body mechanics and self care management techniques. She has completed 2 levels of Postural Restoration Institute basic classes.
Gail is also proficient in the treatment of scoliosis and was the first full time Schroth Scoliosis Therapist in the state of Connecticut.

Gail received her certification in the Scientific Exercise Approach for Scoliosis (SEAS) in January 2017.

Gail received her Schroth-Barcelona (BSPTS) C2 certification in February 2016, preceded by her BSPTS C1 certification in November 2014 and BSPTS advanced in December 2017.

In February 2012, Gail was trained from Senior Physiotherapist Axel Maier-Hennes from the Schroth Asklepios Katharina-Schroth-Klinik Bad Sobernheim at CUNY - Hunter College.

Gail specializes in providing restorative physical therapy care to the client with many resources and tools.
Jeanne Halloran, PT, DPT earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from New York University in 2004. She joined our team in 2019 after her Certification training in Schroth-Barcelona BSPTS-C1. Jeanne went for further Scoliosis training with C2 certification in January 2020. She completed her SEAS level 1 Certification in May 2019.
She has participated in several continuing education courses diversifying her manual skills including: Integrative Manual therapy (IMT), Neural Tissue Tension Release, Visceral 1, 2 & 4 (Barral), Muscle Energy Techniques (MET), Maitlin, Mulligan, Movement Assessment with Shirley Sahrman and sports medicine courses with Kevin Wilk. Jeanne is certified in Mat Pilates with Power Pilates and trained in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization and in kinesiotaping. Jeanne brings her further expertise in gait assessment and evaluation and is trained for casting and fitting for custom orthotics.
Jeanne is also an avid runner who is always training for a race, who's goal is to be injury free and to get her patients back to sports and activities that they love.
Valerie Friedman PT, MPT, CSCS
Valerie earned her Master of Physical Therapy degree from Quinnipiac University in 2005. She has completed the Rigo Concept - Barcelona Scoliosis Physical Therapy School (BSPTS) Base Level Course as well as L1 and L2 certificates in 2023. She has clinical experience in the outpatient rehabilitation setting with all age groups and has facilitated care plans both on land and with aquatic therapy.
She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, earned in 2006 from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. In addition to scoliosis care, Val has a special interest in youth strengthening, injury resilience, and long-term athletic development.
