Gail P. Fennell, PT is the owner of CT Scoliosis and Spine Rehab, LLC. Gail specializes in the care of each person with a comprehensive, hands-on approach. She is well adept at the bio-mechanical analysis of movement.
With a comprehensive approach to physical therapy, Gail includes: manual therapy, movement analysis and exercise with neuromuscular re-education, therapeutic instruction in an individualized home exercise program; this includes proper body mechanics and self care management techniques.
Gail is also proficient in the treatment of scoliosis and was the first full time Schroth Scoliosis Therapist in the state of Connecticut.
Gail received her certification in the Scientific Exercise Approach for Scoliosis (SEAS) in January 2017.
Gail also received her SEAS 2 certification in February 2018.
Gail received her Schroth-Barcelona (BSPTS) C2 certification in February 2016, preceded by her BSPTS C1 certification in November 2014 and BSPTS advanced in December 2017.
In February 2012, Gail was trained from Senior Physiotherapist Axel Maier-Hennes from the Schroth Asklepios Katharina-Schroth-Klinik Bad Sobernheim at CUNY - Hunter College.
Gail is a member of SOSORT (International Society on Scoliosis Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Treatment)
Gail specializes in providing restorative physical therapy care to the client with many resources and tools.
Robin Raposa, MSPT has over 38 years experience as a Physical Therapist.
She earned her B.S in Physical Therapy from SUNY Downstate Medical Center as well as an M.S in Exercise Physiology from Queens College. Robin earned her SEAS 1 Certification in January 2017. She achieved her BSPTS C1 certification in June 2017 and is now her BSPTS C2 certification in June 2019.
Robin can treat the whole body and is trained in Kinesiotaping.
In Robin's free time she loves visiting her adult children and playing with her beagle. In the winter you can find her on the slopes skiing.
Jeanne Halloran, PT, DPT earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from New York University in 2004 & Schroth-Barcelona BSPTS C1 certification in January 2019 and C2 certification in January 2020. She completed her SEAS 1 Cerification in May 2019.
Jeanne evaluates, casts and fits custom orthotics and is trained in kinesiotaping. She has participated in continuing education course diversifying her manual skills including Maitlin, Mulligan, movement with Shirley Sahrman and sports medicine with Kevin Wilk. Jeanne is certified in Mat Pilates with Power Pilates and trained in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization.
Jeanne is also an avid runner who is always training for a race, who's goal is to be injury free and to get her patients back to sport and activities that they love.
Carol-Anne Hicks, PT, DPT earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from New York Medical College 2017. She earned her Barcelona Scoliosis Physical Therapy School (BSPTS) C2 certification in January 2019, and BSPTS C1 certification in January 2018.
Carol-Anne has more than 20 years' experience teaching ballet, dance, yoga, pilates, and strength and conditioning. She is a 200-hour certified yoga teacher. Carol-Anne has extensive training and experience in spinal biomechanics.
Additionally, she has certifications in pelvic floor physical therapy through the Herman and Wallace Institute, and training in physical therapy for pelvic pain, pregnancy, prenatal, and postpartum pain. She also has certifications and training in Integrative Manual Therapy (IMT) including muscle energy techniques and myofascial release, instrument assisted soft tissue massage (IASTM), dance medicine, breathing pattern disorders, kinesiotaping, and cupping therapy.
